Description Nike rolls out another ‘Timeless’ edition that will run alongside the meme-worthy Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Timeless Dunk’. Now added to the list of strap-bearing Nike footwear is the coveted Air Max 1, which is getting the functional feature for the first time ever! New isn’t always better though, as this change is sure to have fans of the silhouette doing a double take. While this may seem like an odd move on Nike’s part, the brand does have a successful history of strapped footwear, just think back to the Air Trainer 1 that was highlighted alongside the AM1 in Nike’s infamous Air commercial from 1988. There are surely more ‘Timeless’ hybrids yet to come, but are we liking what we’ve seen so far? Does the strap throw off the feng shui for what many sneakerheads consider to be perfect?
