Description Further filling up its retro running trainer lineup, Saucony collaborates with Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary creative designer Jordan Page’s budding apparel brand Colour Plus Companie to revive the classic Grid Shadow 2 model from the ‘90s. The first of a three-part series, this Colour Plus x Saucony Grid Shadow 2 “Beach Ramble” takes design cues from Saucony’s Trekker boot as a homage to hiking terrains on sandy beaches, infusing tan and brown shades to mimic the seashore. Jordan Page first worked with Saucony in early 2023 to deliver an extremely-limited vintage-inspired Jazz 81 iteration. Months later, his Colour Plus Companie takes the spotlight to headline a three-pack collaboration starring the Saucony Grid Shadow 2 from 1996. This “Beach Ramble” colourway debuts with a beach-inspired makeover. It has a beige mesh construction and brown overlays with tan hairy suede panels encompassing most of the wavy upper. Dark brown pebbled leather layers adorn the quarter and heel panels to fulfil the collection’s outdoor theme. Co-branded Saucony and Colour Plus labels appear on the tongue, heel and sockliner. The brown and tan-coloured rubber sole wrap up this reimagined ‘90s chunky trainer.
