Avid outdoor runners Willa and Nick Martire formed norda in 2020 with the hopes of creating the best trail-running shoe possible. The couple sought help from designer Louis-Martin Tremblay and brand development head Gerard Cleal to make this plan possible. Amidst the pandemic, the norda 001 launched in 2021 after years of development. The norda 001 G+ retains the strong Dyneema® upper but gets updated with a layer of G+® Graphene membrane, the lightest, strongest, and most conductive natural material on the planet to regulate temperature. It’s also waterproof to keep your feet dry in the snow. The G+ version also boasts 20 carbide-tipped steel spikes on the Vibram® soleplate with Litebase® and Megagrip® Rubber. This rendition is made exclusively for snowy areas.The “Grey Orange” colourway appears with a cream-white upper base and grey overlays on the heel panel. Vibram’s SLE midsole compound comes in orange to stand out in the snow. High-visibility reflective materials comprise the upper for 360-degree visibility. The black soleplate unit completes this eye-catching makeover.
