The Nike Air Max 98 NYC is a fresh new take on the 1998 classic that pays homage to the legendary New York City. After remaining mythical to track down for many years, the AM98 resurfaced in 2018 to celebrate its 20th anniversary and has since remained a constant release for the Oregon-based brand. The bulky uppers of the model are crafted from a blend of synthetics, leather and mesh for a panelled look, with shades of white, navy and pops of orange forming the colorway. Nike branding comes in the form of an embellished mini-Swoosh on the lateral sides, as well as another at the toe box. The complex lacing system means these stay firmly on feet at all times, and also looks great. Underfoot, the full-length Nike Air Max unit ensures that these are comfortable as ever, even over extended periods of wear.
