Originally dubbed \u2018Chenille\u2019 due to the type of yarn used on the Swoosh, Jordan Brand are now officially calling these \u2018Newstalgia\u2019. As with many releases from Michael Jordan\u2019s signature line, it surely riffs off nostalgic aspects of the GOAT\u2019s historic career.<\/p>\n
This Pair features a White leather base with Red overlays and Iron Ore used on the collars and tongues the other details include corduroy tongues and \u201cChenille\u201d Swooshes on the lateral mid panels. Rounding off the design, a \u201cSail\u201d midsole has been brought in atop a red rubber outsole.<\/p>\n
For the finer details, a \u201cNewstalgia\u201d square hangtag has been brought into the fold, with its Nike Air branding being crafted in the same aforementioned carpet-like surface that can be spotted on the customary Swooshes.<\/p>\n
Product history. The first Air Jordan was produced for use by\u00a0Michael Jordan<\/b>. They were designed by Peter B. Moore, and released during Jordan’s sophomore season with the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan 1 Royal was never worn by Michael Jordan on an NBA court.<\/p>\n
