These were another great pair designed by James Arizumi. For those who weren\u2019t able to get a hold of a pair of the legendary, commotion-causing NYC Pigeon Dunks, the Purple Pigeons were as close as you\u2019re going to get.<\/p>\n
The Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Purple Pigeon \u2013 light graphite \/ violet was dubbed Purple Pigeon after the original Pigeon Dunks were released.<\/p>\n
The only problem was that these did not feature the pigeon logo on the heel of the shoe as the original ones did. A designer came up with the idea to make the Pigeon patches which you could put on these, to really help them earn their name. They feature a suede \/ leather upper with two tones of grey, and purple accents, including a purple Nike swoosh, outsole, and heel tab.<\/p>\n
Are Dunks Or SB Dunks More Comfortable?\u00a0An older SB Dunk can be more comfortable than a regular (non-SB) Dunk. Modern Dunk and SB Dunk releases tend to be stiffer right out of the box. As such, modern regular Dunks are more accommodating than their SB counterparts<\/p>\n
