Hong Kong-based streetwear brand CLOT continues its 20th-anniversary celebration with another Dunk Low rendition. The recent three-way collaboration between CLOT, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design, and Nike featured a clean Dunk Low colourway with a removable silk upper. This CLOT x Nike Dunk Low “Cork” adds a different twist with interchangeable Swooshes atop a full cork-constructed upper.

2023 is a historic year for CLOT as it marks the label’s 20th year. Founders Edison Chen and Kevin Poon created this lifestyle brand to converge Eastern and Western cultures through various collaborations. After joining forces with Nike for the first time in 2006 for the Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death”, more collaborative designs soon followed in the next 17 years. To celebrate CLOT’s milestone, the brand teamed up with Nike and kicked things off with a trio of modified Nike Cortez “CLOTEZ” with removable upper layers to resemble slip-on kung fu shoes. This “Cork” Dunk Low marks the third collaboration this 2023.

The shoe features a sustainable cork upper construction with CLOT logos on the medial rear sections. The latter features a full cork-based upper with special heel flaps reading “2003” and “2023” in celebration of the labels 20th Anniversary. The sneaker will also come with detachable Swooshes that come in a mix of snakeskin and leather materials. The laces also come in white flat laces with extra black and red round laces. Brown accents comprise the outsole and lining, while the sail white rubber midsole completes this special-edition Nike Dunk. Each pair will come with co-branded insoles housed in special packaging.

Are Dunks Or SB Dunks More Comfortable? An older SB Dunk can be more comfortable than a regular (non-SB) Dunk. Modern Dunk and SB Dunk releases tend to be stiffer right out of the box. As such, modern regular Dunks are more accommodating than their SB counterparts
