The two have linked with the famed NYC Visual Artist Rammellzee for this one-of-a-kind release.

This offering of the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low upper is coated in a black upper crafted from suede and canvas materials. Highlighting the sneaker is Rammellzee’s artwork on the toe box, quarter panel, collar, and heel overlay. Other details includes Black suede overlays on the forefoot, eyestay, and Swooshe. Like past collabs, the shoe features a gold “SUPREME” lace dubrae that includes a co-branded hang tag. A Black midsole atop a Gum rubber outsole completes the design.

Supreme and the Nike SB Dunk stand as two of the most powerful and influential players in the massive world of streetwear and sneaker culture. Over the course of their multi-decade histories, the NYC skate brand and the born-again Nike have amassed world-famous followings far removed from either’s origin, blurring lifestyle lines while unhinging agency.

In an era of celebrated cross-pollination and also cringe-worthy clout leverage, the brand and the model both reign, well, supreme. While trends shift and various streetwear staples have had their moment in the sun, the puff-tongued skateboarding shoe, and standoff-ish store both carry more heritage and staying power than any of their peers.

What does SB mean in Nike SB Dunk Low?

Nike Skateboarding, primarily known as Nike SB, is the Nike brand for its line of shoes, clothing, and equipment for skateboarding.

Why are SB dunks so popular?

By the mid-’90s, the Nike Dunk had become a cult favorite amongst the skateboarding community, thanks to its superior cushioning, support and traction

Are dunks or SB dunks more comfortable?

Are Dunks Or SB Dunks More Comfortable? An older SB Dunk can be more comfortable than a regular (non-SB) Dunk. Modern Dunk and SB Dunk releases tend to be stiffer right out of the box. As such, modern regular Dunks are more accommodating than their SB counterparts

The most noticeable difference between the two sneakers are their tongues. On the Nike Dunk, you get a slim, mesh tongue. On the SB Dunk, the tongue has been beefed up to provide more cushion and protection. By being thicker, the tongue helps with the fit as well. It enables the sneaker to mold to your feet, preventing any slipping or wiggling. The tongue is held down with elastic straps which provide an added layer of lockdown. As a bonus, it allows you to slip the SB Dunk on and off without having to mess with finicky laces.

Dunk vs SB Dunk: What’s the Difference Between the Sneakers?
