The offering of the mid-top J’s is layered in a full leather build, with hues of white and grey throughout. “Colorless” smooth leather sets the stage for the titular tone across the model’s iconic paneling. Profile swooshes, branding on the tongue and lateral ankle and outsoles deviate from the light hues in favor of stark “Black” contrast. Black detailing appears on the tongue, side Swooshes, and the signature Air Jordan Wings logo. Wrapping up the silhouette is an ice white and black sole followed by grey inner linings.

The newly-surfaced option doesn’t steal the show like other iterations of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe or the near-identical Nike Dunk, but it continues to deliver fresh styles to old and new fans alike.

Product history. The first Air Jordan was produced for use by Michael Jordan. They were designed by Peter B. Moore, and released during Jordan’s sophomore season with the Chicago Bulls. The Jordan 1 Royal was never worn by Michael Jordan on an NBA court.
