The consistent stream will continue deep into 2023, with confiormation of a three-pronged collaboration involving Edison.<\/p>\n<p>the Clot x Fragment x Nike Dunk Low features a tearaway silk upper in White with Black leather eyestays and lining atop a translucent outsole. \u201cFRGMT\u201d branding is embroidered on the heels, while co-branded Clot and Fragment logos are stamped onto the insoles. The shoe will also come housed in special packaging.<\/p>\n<p><strong>about CLOT x Nike<\/strong><\/p>\n<section class=\"text-block-component ncss-row mb2-sm mb7-md\" data-qa=\"TextCard\">\n<div class=\"ncss-col-sm-12 pr7-sm pl7-sm pt10-sm pb10-sm\">\n<div class=\"product-info ta-sm-c pt6-sm pb6-sm prl7-sm\">\n<div class=\"description-text text-color-grey\">\n<div class=\"text-color-grey\" data-qa=\"text-card-body\">\n<p>Since 2006, Nike has been launching a series of sneaker collaborations with CLOT, the brainchild of Edison Chen and Kevin Poon. Through their bold and highly creative designs, CLOT has demonstrated their deep exploration and thinking into the origins of their own culture. At the same time, Nike has continued to show their respect and support towards different cultures of the world. The collaboration of these two brands has led to the bridging of sneaker cultures of the East and West.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.The First Kiss<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A collaborative relationship sealed with a kiss, somewhat. The\u00a0Air Max 1 &#8216;Kiss of Death&#8217; was Nike and CLOT&#8217;s debut sneaker project, drawing inspiration from Chinese acupuncture. Releasing in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrating that storied sneaker, CLOT and Nike would tap into the design once again seven years later. Incorporating the then-groundbreaking Hyperfuse technology to the Air Max 1, the &#8216;Kiss of Death 2&#8217; came through with a renewed colour palette, as well as improved ventilation and functionality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.Down the Silk Road<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CLOT have established themselves as the undisputed kings of\u00a0the tear-away sneaker, building a storied lineup of silk-clad\u00a0Air Force 1s\u00a0dating all the way back to 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrating the Air Force 1&#8217;s 35th year, CLOT finessed another silk-inspired design, arriving with an all-white colourway. Releasing almost a decade after the &#8216;1World&#8217; colourway, the &#8216;White Silk&#8217; brought the concept back for Nike&#8217;s &#8216;100&#8217; initiative, with the upper tearing away to reveal a hidden gold layer.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, CLOT have remixed the Air Force 1 in &#8216;Royal University Blue Silk&#8217;, &#8216;Rose Gold Silk&#8217;, and even tapped Hiroshi Fujiwara\u2019s Fragment Design label for a three-way &#8216;Black Silk&#8217; project in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.Jumpman Connection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jordan Brand\u00a0and CLOT released their first drop in 2018, taking to the Air Jordan 13 Low. Paying homage to one of China&#8217;s most important cultural relics \u2013 the Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor of China \u2013 the detailed build re-tools the traditional stitching and padding, and also comes with lush premium suede. Designed to mimic the 2000-year-old plated armour worn by the Terracotta Army, the upper is also accented with metallic gold CLOT and Jumpman logos, carrying on the brand&#8217;s maximalist charm.<\/p>\n<p>To this day, CLOT&#8217;s partnership with the Jumpman has been a vehicle to highlight some of the more underrated models, including the Air Jordan 1 Mid, Air Jordan 14 Low, and even the performance-packed Air Jordan 35.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.An Unexpected CLOT Twist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To mark 15 years of CLOT and Nike, the duo revived the &#8216;Kiss of Death&#8217; for 2021. First\u00a0teased by DJ Khaled, the rumours were officially confirmed weeks later, with the new Air Max 1 arriving with some subtle tweaks to the OG. Coming through with a similar translucent outsole to the 2006 version, the contemporary remix made use of an icy blue outsole with a graphic of a reflexology map of the sole&#8217;s pressure points hidden beneath it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.&#8217;Flux&#8217; It!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2022, it was time for CLOT to take on a silhouette stomping all over the zeitgeist: the Nike\u00a0Dunk.\u00a0Infused with lenticular design technology, the trippy, space-age\u00a0Dunk High\u00a0\u2018Flux\u2019 was reportedly the hardest of Edison Chen\u2019s prodigious sneaker career so far. Inspired by the concept of yin and yang, the &#8216;Flux&#8217; tapped the energy of fluidity and harmony.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The original concept was infusing a Yin and Yang philosophy of black and white.
