this shoe looks almost identical to the “Sail” that we previewed earlier this month, but when you squint your eyes, you’ll realise that they couldn’t be more different. Working on top of a slick “Black” canvas base, it’s overlaid by panels and panels of “White” premium leather, resulting in a contrast that is sure to turn heads wherever you go.

This pair has just been unveiled, sporting “University Red” at its Swooshes, the tongue’s Jumpman logo and the embroidered Cactus Jack face logo at the heel. Similar to the aforementioned “Sail” pair, a textile base is joined by leather overlays with this colorway utilizing black and white at the two areas respectively. Its signature midfoot strap is also featured in white leather while the sole unit pairs a white midsole with an off-white outsole.

While we’re not entirely sure what technology is used for the midsole, is that it’s infused with Air technology just like La Flame’s other Air Jordans. The unit is then lined with a creamy “Muslin” rubber outsole, giving the trainer some serious vintage vibes. All of this then comes packed in an exclusive shoebox that’s almost as collectible as the Jumpman Jack TR itself.

Aptly named the Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack “Grey”, the brand-new colorway was seen on La Flame during SZA’s concert in Amsterdam.

The sneaker looks to boast a full-suede upper, with black adorning the base, grey on the overlays. The swoosh logo on the tongue features the characteristic brown of the collaboration between Jordan and Travis. We find an inverted swoosh, signature of the collaboration, in white leather. The sole is made of transparent rubber, and reveals the word “JACK” on the sole, nickname of the American rapper.

The pair pays homage to the former NFL team of Scott’s hometown of Houston, the Oilers. University blue suede covers the upper, while black accents the rest of the features commonly seen on the Air Jordan 4.

Switching things up, at the left heel is a Cactus Jack Records logo which accompanies the Jumpman found on the right heel. While “Travis Scott” and “Air Jordan” both appear on the upside-down labels underneath the tongue of each shoe.

The plastic lacing wings at the heels and insoles have been splattered for maximum effect, and the colorway is an homage to Scott’s favorite pro football team growing up, the Houston Oilers (1960-1996, now the Tennessee Titans).

HOW DID TRAVIS SCOTT GET FAMOUS?

Travis Scott’s rise to global fame started back in 2012 when he signed his first major label-deal with Epic Records, and later that year also with Kanye West’s GOOD Music’s, VERY GOOD Beats. In 2013 he finally made his highly anticipated debut on the music scene with his first full length mixtape Owl Pharaoh.
