Nike’s 40th iteration of the Pegasus series, which began in 1983, the Pegasus 40 Premium, has a fresh variation highlighted by eye-catching pops of red. Introducing the Nike Pegasus 40 Premium “White University Red”.This Pegasus 40 Premium starts out with a white single-layer mesh base from heel to toe. The signature profile Swooshes have different treatments on either side of the shoe. The lateral side features four different stacked Swooshes in different shades of red and different materials, from “painted-on” decal Swooshes to embroidered burgundy outlines. The medial side wall shows off Nike text branding in a script font and two Swooshes, one black outline and the other with a university red colour and a glossy finish.
