Nike SB Dunk Low Pro ‘Raygun’ Orange Flash/Black New Releases

Definitely an interesting shoe, the Home Rayguns were designed by famed shoe customizer Methamphibian. He took inspiration from Nike’s made-up ABA team, the Roswell Rayguns, and actually painted this design on a pair of Air Force 1s. The design soon made its way to the Nike Dunk SB. This team, led by the fly Dr. Funk, who was portrayed by Vince Carter, was the center of a number of Nike ads during the 2002 NBA Playoffs. Jermaine O’Neal, Paul Pierce, Baron Davis and Jerry Stackhouse were also part of this fictional team. Not following traditional team colorways, this black-based sneaker is actually the home sneaker, rather than it being a usual white or lighter color. On the yellow heel is the Raygun logo, while the side panel is orange and the toe is black. The shoe is finished with a contrasting white outsole.

The away color of the Raygun pack, like its black counterpart, is not traditionally colored as far as team shoes go. As you know, most away sneakers are a black or dark color. But, I guess anything goes since the Roswell Rayguns weren’t an actual ABA team, just a fictional team made to advertise Nike basketball during the 2002 NBA Playoffs. The team was comprised of NBA stars during that time including Jermaine O’Neal, Paul Pierce, Baron Davis, Jerry Stackhouse, and Vince Carter as Dr. Funk, the team’s captain. The shoe features a green martian Raygun logo on the yellow heel combines with an orange side panel and white toe. This white colorway was only available outside of the U.S. and Canada, with the black colorway the exact opposite.

Nike Air Force 1 ‘Raygun’ / raygun sale

While no leaked images have surfaced of the Air Force 1, we expect to see the sneaker take on a design that is almost identical to the original Nike SB Dunk’s, which is pretty cool. Expect a black, red and yellow leather upper, along with Black Nike Swooshes, white laces and the iconic Raygun logo on the heels.
