This new Nike Kobe 8 Protro updates the cushioning with a React drop-in midsole, replacing the now-defunct Lunarlon foam. A Zoom Air unit is also added inside the heel for more impact protection. Braille details return on the rear midsole, a signature feature of most Nike Kobe sneakers. This colourway gives the Kobe 8 an all-white treatment. It has an engineered mesh base, fuse overlays on the mudguard, embroidered Swooshes, and a leather tongue. Kobe’s signature adorns the lateral heel counter, while the Kobe sheath logos comprise the tongue, heel, and lateral outsole.
