The “First Use June 18, 1971” text is featured on the mid-panel window on the medial side. The lateral mid-panel window shows off a mini Swoosh in black with a red outline. The pair also has retro branding on the tongue tab and heel pull tab. The full-length Air unit that has been a feature of the Air Max 97 since its introduction in 1997 remains simple in a clear cassette and white construction.
