How to Register a Bike at ASU

Step 1: Create an Account with 529 Garage

  • Visit the 529 Garage website and create an account if you don’t already have one.
  • Select “Register your bike for free” from the available options.

Step 2: Confirm Serial Number

  • Bring your bicycle and your ASU ID card to any bike valet station or PTS office on the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic or West Valley campuses.
  • The staff will confirm your bicycle’s serial number and issue you a sticker permit.

Step 3: Display Permit

  • Place the sticker permit on your bicycle’s frame, clearly visible from the ground.

  • Your bicycle
  • Your ASU ID card
